Bernard M. Brown, Advisor, has specialized in providing investment banking and consulting services to the insurance industry for over thirty years. Mr. Brown began his career as a securities analyst who followed and published research reports on publicly traded insurance equities. He then became a major shareholder of Risk Planning Group, Inc., now Tillinghast/Towers Perrin, prior to co-founding Insurance Venture Partners, Inc.
At IVP he initiated and structured a number of transactions in the insurance industry involving mergers, acquisitions and early stage ventures for some of the industry's major participants. Mr. Brown is a graduate of the College of Insurance (now St. John's School of Risk Management and Actuarial Science) and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
