George A Douvros has over 20 years of experience in investment banking specializing at the Marine Transportation and Energy Industries. His career in investment banking began at Telesis Securities first as the head of Sales Trading of the foreign institutional desk and later at ABN Amro Securities in London where he completed over 32 IPOs and hundreds of Equity Secondary Public Offerings for Athens Stock Exchange and the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange listings. He later joined PwC Athens as Director where he co-founded the Capital Markets Division at which he originated, structured and facilitated Reverse Mergers as well as Equity and Debt Advisory Placements for Private and Public Corporations.

Mr. Douvros also has 14 years of experience in the Marine Transportation industry as an active industry participant. In 2004 he bought his first Tanker Vessel and since then and up until today he has been Co-founder and Managing Partner at a number of Shipping Ventures acting in Ship Owning, Ship Management and Ship Broking of Dry Bulk, Product and Chemical Tanker Vessels. He has substantial industry knowledge and global network which has been useful to Chatsworth since joining in 2010.

He is a Candidate for Post Graduate Degree in Trade Finance at Middlesex University. He holds an MBA in Finance from Butler University and a BSc in Finance from the University of Indianapolis. He is a Certified Chartering and S&P Ship Broker and an active Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and of the Hellenic Shipbrokers Association.
