Mr. Carrière is an specializes in aviation/aerospace, automotive, mobility (including advanced air mobility) and all businesses relating to enabling technologies and services. Based in France, his forte is his unique skillset, combining knowledge and experience in investment banking, business and French business law.

Mr. Carrière started his professional career in Paris at Linklaters LLP where he worked on M&A and Private Equity transactions. At Linklaters he worked on multi-million and multi-billion Euro transactions (e.g. Apollo GM 2.9bn Eur LBO on Verallia). He received business operational experience as Deputy General Counsel at the Valeo Group, before cofounding a startup in the private aviation industry with a team in Portland, OR as well as a consulting practice.

Mr. Carrière is a deeply international-minded business professional. He grew up in France and England, was educated in France and Scotland, and worked in Paris and London with teams around the world.

Mr. Carrière’s work experience has always involved complex transactions, with demanding stakeholders and high levels of expectations. As a result of this experience, he is well versed in due diligence management, negotiation of complex documentation from a business perspective, closing, time management and management of interactions with banks, authorities, managers, entrepreneurs.

As an entrepreneur Mr. Carrière gained valuable experience raising capital, and advised other entrepreneurs regarding fundraising activities, rebuilding organizations and defining strategies and product/market fit. He has substantial knowledge of electric and hydrogen aviation projects, simulation training services and other aspects of the aviation industry. This building and pitching experience is valuable and adapted to the French, European and US environment.

Mr. Carrière holds a Master’s degree in business and management from Dauphine University in Paris, a Master’s degree in business law from the Sorbonne and a LL.M. from Edinburgh University. He is a member of the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce and of the Vertical Flight Society.
